We are happily moving to our next stop, Guangzhou. Too much time in the hotel room here but it has been a good stay. Hard for me to believe, but we are only halfway through our trip! I fully understand people who get off the plane and kiss the ground. I may do that upon returning home followed by a big glass of sweet tea! Thankfully there is a Starbucks not far from our next hotel!
Nolan has gotten very loud and difficult especially at meals. Lunch was interesting with many people around and one very outspoken child who kept smacking Daddy in the face. It is an interesting balance between bonding and correcting unacceptable behavior. Plus, being very much in the public eye just adds another interesting layer. The plane ride will be an adventure!
In Guangzhou we have a medical exam for Nolan on Saturday morning and a then we have to take an oath at the US Consulate there on Monday. The following day we will get Nolan's Visa allowing him into the US. Then we will board a train for Hong Kong and spend our final night there. The first flight home is 13 hours followed by a four hour layover and then a 2.5 hour trip to Orlando.
Nolan is full of life and quite a character. We are enjoying every minute, even the challenging ones!
