Something Funny...

As we sit here in our rooms, a man is hanging outside our window by a very make-shift looking weight & balance system made of some large bags that may have once held rice. He has a drill plugged into an extension cord with a bunch of electrical tape holding it all together. He is wearing dress shoes. Did I mention we are on the 16th floor and this is 5 star hotel? Clearly OSHA is a US thing! I hope this guy has a good life insurance policy because I know he's not making enough money!

The other is a picture of a bus. 1 person got off, at least 10 got on!

I haven't mentioned traffic here- it is SCARY! Our guide says they have traffic laws but no one wants to follow them. The laws are more like suggestionsthe lines on the roads mean nothing. They drive on sidewalks too. We have watched little men in orange vests sweeping the intersection below with brooms made out of sticks, paying no attention whatsoever to the traffic all around.

We did see a woman on a bike get hit by a car today. The driver got out to make sure she was okay and then they were both on their way.

I guess road rage is not a problem here.
