Last Day in China

We spent the morning out taking in our last hours here in the country of Nolan's birth. While we are incredibly happy to be going home to the rest of our family, there is a bit of sadness as well.

Nolan is doing so well. Much better with the hitting and banging on the table at meals. He is still very chatty but not quite as loud as he was few days ago. He is sleeping well and does not cry more than a few minutes when we put him down. He does try to object to things occasionally like riding in the stroller, or eating vegetables, but does not really put up much of a fight.

His appetite is very good so hopefully we will put a little meat on his bones when we get home. At 25 months old, he is wearing 12 month size pants with room to spare!

Last night was the first time he didn't cry out during the night. And the first night Baba & Mama actually slept through the night as well. Now that we have adjusted to the time change it's time to go home!

We had forgotten how hard it is to get good pics of a 2 year old. He has yet to give us a smile looking right into the camera. He is never still either.

There are 2 cowlicks on the back of his head, same as Daddy! We have been told that means he will be a mischievous boy. We do agree about the mischievous part. One thing for sure about the cowlicks.... difficult hair!

Okay, that's not funny....but, we can laugh about it NOW because it's OVER, right?!! Good luck with your travels home...hope Nolan sleeps the WHOLE way!!!! Talk to you soon!!

CONGRATULATIONS and Welcome Home! I'm surprised we haven't met online, but we are good friends of Ron and Rhonda Currier, and they sent me to your blog. We have 2 daughters from China and live in Vero Beach. We often get to Orlando, so maybe we can meet sometime after Nolan is all settled! I would email, but can't find a link!
